Fang Feng Tong Sheng San (Siler and Platycodon Formula)
(防風通圣散) This formula is traditionally used for fever and chills, headaches, general body aches, irregular urination, sluggish bowel movements, skin rashes including acne, pimples, urticaria, psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis etc. It has also been used for headaches and asthma due to wind heat and has been known to reduce cholesterol. This formula is clinically indicated for cold and heat in the both the superficial and interior with excess and deficient conditions.

Chuan Xiong (Ligusticum Striatum Root and Rhizome)
Bo He (Mentha Haplocalyx Leaf)
Bai Shao (Paeonia Lactiflora Root and Rhizome)
Jie Geng (Platycodon Grandiflorus Root and Rhizome)
Da Huang (Rheum Palmatum Root Wood)
Jing Jie (Schizonepeta Tenuifolia Flower Stalk)
Huang Qin (Scutellaria Baicalensis Root)

Adult and children 12 years and over:
Take 8 pills 3 times daily, 30 minutes to 1 hour away from meals with about 150 ml of warm water.
