Yin Qiao San (Lonicera and Forsythia Formula) 银翘散

This formula expels wind heat. It is traditionally used for cold and flu symptoms including runny nose, nasal congestion, sore throat, thirst, sore swollen throat, fever, headache.

Ingredients:

• Jin Yin Hua (Lonicera Japonica Flower)
• Lian Qiao (Forsythia Suspensa Fruit Shell)
• Gua Lou (Trichosanthes Kirilowii Fruit)
• Dan Zhu Ye (Phyllostachys Nigra Leaf)
• Lu Gen (Phragmites Australis Rhizome)
• Jing Jie (Schizonepeta Tenuifolia Stem)
• Jie Geng (Platycodon Grandiflorus Root)
• Fang Feng (Ledebouriella Seseloides Whole Plant)
• Gan Cao (Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Root)
• Bo He (Mentha Haplocalyx Whole Plant)

Adult and children 12 years and over:

Take 8 pills 3 times daily, 30 minutes to 1 hour away from meals with about 150 ml of warm water.
