Bao He Wan (Citrus & Crataegus Formula) 保和丸

Traditionally used for those experiencing poor appetite, poor digestion, bloating after meals, abdominal discomfort or pain etc. It’s a common formula taken for children of 4 or older and may be used for other digestive disorders. It’s a formula clinically indicated to harmonize the stomach.

For better efficacy combine with Wu Wei Xiao Du Yin for gastritis, peptic ulcers.

Ingredients:

• Chen Pi (Citrus Reticulata Fruit peel)
• Sha Zha (Crataegus Cuneata Fruit)
• Lian Qiao (Forsythia Suspensa Fruit shell)
• Gan Cao (Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Root)
• Mai Ya (Hordeum Vulgare Sprout)
• Hou Po (Magnolia Officinalis Rhizome Bark)
• Ban Xia (Pinellia Ternata Root)
• Lai Fu Zi (Raphanus Sativus Seed)
• Fu Ling (Wolfiporia Cocos Root)

Adult and children 12 years and over:

Take 8 pills 3 times daily, 30 minutes to 1 hour away from meals with about 150 ml of warm water.
