This formula heavily clears heat, purge fire and detoxifies. It is traditionally used for symptoms of thirst, flushing red complexion, scanty urine, pyretic and pyogenic infections, carbuncles, acne, eczema, dermatitis, redness, swelling, burning sensation with pain, urinary tract infections etc.
As this formula is quite cold in nature, it should not be taken for an excessive amount of time.
Ingredients:
- Huang Lian (Coptis Chinensis Root)
- Zhi Zi (Gardenia Jasminoides Fruit)
- Gan Cao (Glycyrrhiza Uralensis Root)
- Huang Bai (Phellodendron Amurense Root and Rhizome)
- Huang Qin (Scutellaria Baicalensis Root)
Adult and children 12 years and over:
Take 8 pills 3 times daily, 30 minutes to 1 hour away from meals with about 150 ml of warm water.
